About Elyséa HEALTH
Whole-Person Healthcare at Elyséa HEALTH
Health presentations are rarely singular in origin. Symptoms may arise from medical conditions, psychological influences, or a combination of both. At Elyséa HEALTH, consultations are structured to enable clinicians to evaluate presenting concerns in relation to relevant medical history and, where appropriate, contextual factors.
Assessment typically includes:
- Review of presenting symptoms within the clinical context
- Identification of contributing medical factors
- Consideration of psychological influences where relevant
- Integration of prior medical history
- Structured clinical reasoning to guide evaluation
- Development of a personalized care plan on findings

Why Elyséa HEALTH
Why Choose Elyséa HEALTH
Elyséa HEALTH is designed for patients whose healthcare requires input from multiple clinical disciplines during assessment. Rather than separating medical and psychological evaluation across unrelated settings, consultations are organised so that relevant clinical perspectives can be applied when needed.
Integrated Care
Psychiatrists, psychologists, General Practitioners and Signature Clinics Doctors work within the same clinical environment, supporting a more complete understanding of patient needs where cross-disciplinary input is appropriate with patient consent.
Experienced Clinicians
Care is delivered by clinicians with specialist training across mental health and primary care, ensuring each consultation is informed by established clinical expertise and judgment.
Structured Clinical Approach
Assessments follow recognised clinical frameworks, supporting consistent evaluation of symptoms and ensuring key medical information is appropriately interpreted.
Individualised Care Planning
Each care plan is tailored to the patient’s specific presentation, medical history, and health priorities, ensuring that recommendations remain relevant and clinically appropriate.
Ongoing Clinical Oversight
Follow-up consultations support ongoing review of progress, allowing care decisions to be adjusted in response to changes in symptoms or clinical findings over time.

What is the mental health pathway at Elyséa HEALTH?
The pathway to care depends on the service you need.
Psychology: You can book directly with one of our psychologists. A referral isn’t required unless you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate, in which case you’ll need a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP.
Psychiatry: A valid GP referral is required for all appointments with a Psychiatrist. Once we receive your referral, it is clinically triaged to ensure you’re matched with the most appropriate psychiatrist and appointment type. Our team will then contact you to arrange your appointment.
If you don’t have a GP referral, you can book an appointment with one of our GPs, who can assess your needs and provide a referral if appropriate. If you already have a referral, simply send it to us, and we’ll begin the triage process.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your Medicare card, any referral documents, a list of your current medications, relevant medical reports or previous assessments, and any completed intake forms requested before your appointment.
What happens after my assessment?
Your assessment is the beginning of your healthcare journey. Depending on your individual needs, your clinician may recommend ongoing appointments, psychological therapy, GP management, specialist referrals, lifestyle strategies, or other evidence-based treatment options.
